Today, I just wanted to encourage you. Remember, the Lord God is with you. As believers in Jesus Christ, the most important thing we can remember, think about, and do today is to know and believe God is with us and His purposes for this day are of utmost importance.
“For this reason, I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me His prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.”
2 Timothy 1:6-8 NIV
Like Timothy was, we today are also called to fan into flames the gifts the Lord has given us. To not be ashamed of our Jesus, nor His truth, and to live in the power and courage that the Holy Spirit gives as we seek, and walk in God's will and way for this day. Today we are to, In Jesus, be a light to this dark world around you.
Not sure what your day is looking like, but live it boldly for Jesus in all you do. We are not alone, the Lord is near. In His love, grace, and truth, let us live this day for His purposes and glory. As we consciously remember and believe He is in us, let us be the light the world around us needs to see Him.
