This is the questions a friend of mine asked as we spent some time talking about leadership and the topic of scapegoating in connection to church leadership and discipline. The three-part section that follows are my thoughts on how we can better decern between what might scapegoating and what is proper church discipline. Truth is, I don't know what your particular situation is, but these are some things to think about as you lead and as we all aim to passionately follow Jesus and walk in unity as brothers and sisters in God's family.
