Does The World Hate You For The Right Reasons?

Are you loved or hated by the world? Are you hated for the right reasons? Jesus said, "I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." Are you hated for the right reasons? Because how you shine the light, love and righteousness of Jesus grates at the sin and darkness and selfish desires of those wanting to live life their own way and for their own desires? Or do people hate you because, well, let's face it, you are not a nice person and think mostly about yourself and want things your way? There are two reasons why the world... People around us, can hate us. Why do they hate you? Or do they actually quite like you? How do you read these passages? Where are you at with the world? Where are you at with Jesus?
